Coach • Leader • Consultant
After more than 30 years as an arts leader, I made some big changes in my life and rediscovered my creativity and passion. I believe in human connection and empathy, and I have put that belief into practice by helping others find pathways to fulfillment.
In our work together, you set the goals, I help you find the path to achieving them.
At the start of our work together, we invest time in exploring what brought you to this process, and what you hope to achieve. There is a discovery aspect here that is exciting for both of us and can potentially take you somewhere you had not anticipated, or it might just reaffirm what you were already thinking about. Our work is always focused on your vision for the future, and it will not get buried by the past, even if we explore some background to help build appropriate goals.
Armed with the knowledge and ideas that emerged during our exploration, you start envisioning what might be. This part of the process unleashes your creative thinking and encourages you to dream. This is the time for unencumbered big ideas. We will bring this vision and your dreams into the design process, where we will work together to build something achievable.
Now that you have done the brave work of dreaming large, we will start to sculpt and scale your ideas into a focused project with achievable goals and benchmarks to keep you on track. This might sound like something only organizations will do, but it’s for everyone! Building a realistic structure for achievement and accountability is how your ideas are transformed into your reality.
Once you’ve devised your project and built a map to achieve your goals, it’s time to dig in. This is when your dreaming moves into your doing stage, to bring your project to fruition. It’s an exciting time, but it’s also a time to remain mindful of your goals. We will work together to navigate your way through the early stages of implementing your project plan. We will devise your thought process for self-accountability and we will examine how to embed flexibility into your approach, especially for those times when redirecting your actions might be necessary.
